Firefighters cut woman free from car after collision in Charlecote

Firefighters used cutting equipment to free a woman from a car after an collision in Charlecote yesterday (Monday).

Crews from Leamington and Stratford attended the incident, which took place on the B4086 at about noon.

The woman was ‘medically trapped’ inside one of the two vehicles which had collided.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to release the casualty, who was then placed in the care of the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

All crews had returned to their stations by 1.45pm
