Fire in Hampton on the hill
FIREFIGHTERS from Warwick and Leamington raced to fire in Hampton-on-the-hill yesterday evening.
At 4.26pm the crews got the call about a house that was on fire just off Ugly Bridge Road in the village to the west of Warwick.
By the time they arrived they found the house heavily smoke logged. It had all stemmed from a blaze in the porch area of the property.
They quickly tackled the flames using two hose reels and a covering jet, as well as breathing equipment.
