Fire at Leamington home is being treated as arson

Police believe a fire at a Leamington house was started deliberately.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or information regarding the incident, which occurred at a garage at a house in Milverton Hill on Friday April 25 at around 10.30pm..

Furniture and bedding which were being stored in the garage, which is connected to the house, were set alight, causing extensive damage inside the garage.

Police are treating the fire as arson. Luckily the fire did not spread to the house and nobody was injured in the incident.

Anyone with any information about the offence, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously around the top end of Milverton Hill near to the junction with Church Hill around 10.30pm on April 25, is asked to contact police on 101 and ask for Police Staff Investigator Ian Shepherd in Leamington CID.
