This remarkable drone footage shows just how much damage has been done to South Cubbington Wood.
The land on the edge and inside parts of the woodland is being cleared to make way for the new high speed rail line (HS2).

Hide AdAs we reported last month, the iconic and much-loved Cubbington pear tree, which sat just on the edge of the woods, was recently felled as part of the HS2 project - news that made headlines across the country.
