Drugs, live ammunition and suspected banned dogs seized in south Leamington police raid

POLICE recovered live ammunition and two dogs, believed to be banned breeds, when they raided a Leamington house on Friday.

Officers executing a warrant in Bury Road, south Leamington, recovered drugs believed to be cocaine, 30 cannabis plants and equipment used in the production of drugs.

A quantity of live ammunition was also recovered and two dogs, believed to be banned breeds, were also seized.

A 46-year old man was arrested at the address. He was questioned at Leamington police station and has been released on bail pending forensic tests on the substances recovered at the address.
