Disruption to train services from Warwick Parkway due to cable theft

TRAIN services between Warwick Parkway and Solihull have been disrupted this morning as a result of a cable theft.

Services between Kidderminster and Lapworth have been cancelled and others have been limited between Stratford, Warwick Parkway and Banbury.

Passengers have been advised to travel to alternative stations while engineers work to restore signalling.

Chiltern Railways have arranged ticket acceptance with London Midland, Virgin Trains, First Great Western and Cross Country.

A statement from Chiltern says: “We are sorry for the disruption that this will cause for your day.”
