Decision due on dog control orders

Councillors were due to reach a decision on new rules governing where dogs should be kept on leads around Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth today (Wednesday).

Warwick District Council will decide whether to adopt new dog control orders at its meeting at Leamington town hall at 6pm.

Angry dog owners staged a noisy protest when the council’s executive committee debated the matter in June.

They were upset about proposals to ban dogs from some cemeteries and have dogs kept on leads in some parks.
