Third arrest in connection with Brownsover stabbing which saw two men seriously injured

Police have arrested a third person in connection with a stabbing in Brownsover yesterday, June 11, which saw two men in their twenties rushed to hospital.

The 36-year-old man, from Rugby, was arrested this morning, with two others arrested not long after the incident yesterday.

Yesterday a spokesperson for Warwickshire Police told the Advertiser that officers were called to an address on Skiddaw shortly before 3pm to a report that two people had been stabbed.

Upon arrival officers discovered two men in their twenties with serious injuries.

They were both rushed to hospital and the latest update from police, issued late yesterday, was that one of the men is in a critical condition.
