Teenager arrested in Kenilworth for carrying a knife

A teenager was arrested in Kenilworth after police discovered he was carrying a knife.

Officers from the Kenilworth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) were out on patrol when they stopped an 13-year-old boy in the Albion Street area of the town.

They said that he was subsequently detained and searched under Section 23 Misuse Drugs Act.

Officers found no drugs but did find knife and they said that the teenager was arrested 'after a brief struggle'.
