A suspect arrested over an assault in Warwick then allegedly went on to racially abuse custody staff in Leamington.

Police initially arrested a 54-year-old man from Leicester following a disturbance at a property in Trebell Way, Warwick on Friday night.

But then the same man was later arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence after it is alleged he racially abused custody staff at Leamington Justice Centre.
