Leamington man charged for several offences after incident in Lillington

A man from Leamington has been charged after an incident in Leamington.

Police arrested and charged the 38-year-old after responding to a report of a someone trying car doors in Lillington in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He was charged with two counts of theft in connection with two incidents in the area, interfering with a motor vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon (a knife) in a public place.

He is due to appear at Magistrates’ Court in Leamington on November 27.
