A house has been 'shut down' by police after suspected criminal activity and anti-social behaviour at the property in Leamington.

PC James Lake applied for the order as a result of serious and continued anti-social behaviour as well as suspected criminal activity at the house in Henley Court.

And now officers from Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have successfully 'shut down' the property after a closure order was granted at Coventry Magistrates Court on Thursday March 25.

PC James Lake applied for the order as a result of serious and continued anti-social behaviour as well as suspected criminal activity at the house in Henley Court.

A spokesperson from the Leamington SNT said: "The resident has now been removed for a minimum of three months, which we hope will give the other residents some much needed peace and quiet.

"Leamington SNT will not stand for this sort of behaviour and will use the powers at our disposal to tackle it."
