Four people arrested after drugs raid on house in Warwick

Four people in their twenties have been arrested for drug offences following a warrant and search at a property in Warwick

Officers from Proactive CID and the Safer Neighbourhood Team were joined by specialist officers to execute a warrant in Brackley Crescent yesterday afternoon, Tuesday August 18, where they seized what they believe to be class A drugs, drugs paraphernalia, cash and mobile phones.

Two men aged 25 and 26, and two women aged 23 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

They have been released under investigation.

Detective Constable Jamie Ball from Warwickshire Police Proactive CID said: “Today’s warrant was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation, following intelligence and information received from the local community.

“We are committed to disrupting the supply of drugs in our county and hope today’s seizure provides reassurance to the public that we are working hard to tackle this type of criminality, and will do everything in our power to bring those responsible to justice.

“This warrant is just one example of the initiatives and investigations Warwickshire Police have in place to tackle the issues, and I would urge anyone with concerns about the supply of drugs in their area to please get in touch.”
