Four arrested after series of drugs raids in Rugby

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police carried out three raids in Rugby yesterday morning, November 30.

Officers forced entry to properties on Plowman Street, The Sidings and Smith’s Orchard following after they received information about the supply of drugs at the three addresses.

Class B drugs believed to be cannabis, along with cash and mobile phones were seized from the properties.

Three men, aged 26, 30 and 42, and one woman aged 34, all from Rugby, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying or offering to supply a controlled class B drug.

They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Warwickshire Police is committed to tackling drug offences within the county.

"Anyone with concerns about the supply of drugs in their communities is asked to contact us."
