Arrests have been made after police attended reports of plant equipment being stolen in Lighthorne Heath.

It was reported that the equipment was being stolen in Southam Crescent last night (Thursday February 12).

Two men were arrested after officers stopped a vehicle towing a generator nearby.

A 42-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of theft and a 44-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of theft and going equipped.

They both remain in custody.
