Challengers beat Demons in nursing home volleyball match
Staff from Kineton Manor Nursing Home rose to the challenge by beating team made up of the residents’ families at a friendly game of volleyball.
The event - between Daphne’s Demons (residents’ families) and K.M. Challengers (staff) - was part of a social afternoon which also included barbecue and live music.
John Cole, a member of the Relative’s Committee and head coach of the residents’ team - and whose mother is a resident in the home, said: “It was a really friendly event with good team spirit on both sides”. The referee was Donald Myton.
