Cancer patients are happy with services in south Warwickshire
Cancer patients using the services provided by South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) have rated them highly in the national Cancer Patient Experience Survey.
The trust has gained positive results in categories including treatment, support and operations. When patients were asked if staff had given them a complete explanation of operations, 92 per cent of people said they had.
Patients also recommended that the information available for patients on cancer research could be improved.
Trust chief executive Glen Burley said: “While we are proud of the positive scores, the survey is also a great opportunity for us to learn more from our patients.”
