Campion’s nurturing future gardeners
CAMPION School became the only school in the county to receive a prize in this year’s Heart of England in Bloom awards.
The Sydenham school, which teaches a Btec in horticulture, has its own plantation, relaxation garden and raised beds.
The school’s relaxation garden was designed by children with the help of Building Arts, a community interest company that has also installed solar panels at Milverton Primary School.
The company’s director Juliet Carter said: “It’s a fantastic achievement for the children and staff at the school and for our staff for making the project a reality.”
