The voluntary club is the only full-time youth facility in the area, employing three youth workers and open four nights a week.

With funding being difficult to secure, this new car park will enable money to be raised from renting out car spaces to the benefit of the club and its members.

A Bradby Club spokesperson said: “For a company to show such generous community spirit is wonderful. Costain Galliford Try has enabled a struggling youth club to improve its profile and made it even more proud of its tradition of helping young people to achieve their potential.”

Eamonn Slevin of Costain Galliford Try, said: “The Bradby Club does so much for the community, we wanted to give something back.”

The club said that without CGT’s generosity its dream of a new car park was out of reach.

CGT hopes that the resurfacing of the car park will bring more people to the club, leading to more funding.

The resurfacing of the car park allows the club to be more accessible and more user- friendly.

Graham Pickett, the club’s Works Superintendent, said he was grateful to the residents for not parking near the works which allowed the job to be completed without any problems.
