Blitz Games to battle it out in Raft Race

BLITZ Games Studios is among the first to start building its rafts for this years Leamington Rotary Charity Raft Race.

The company is entering two very different rafts in the race this year, Milk Float and Carol Oarderman.

Milk Float’s basic concept is to get buoyancy from lots of empty plastic milk containers, and blueprints have already been drawn up. Carol Oarderman takes a more mathematical approach to trying to stay afloat. Chris Theophilus-Bevis, who works in Blitz’s PR department, said: “Carol Oarderman will be a well calculated craft”.

Although there will be a bitter rivalry on the river, the two teams are combining their sponsorship in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust.

The Trust provides care and support for children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening conditions and support for all the family.
