BikeSafe show comes to Gaydon

MOTORCYCLISTS can pick up tips on how to prevent accidents on the road at the National BikeSafe Show at the Heritage Centre in Gaydon this Sunday.

The main aim of the event is to promote motorcycle safety and casualty reduction and there will be police motorcycle riders from across the UK on hand at the event.

Visitors will be able to ride out with the police on the day to have their riding skills assessed and learn how to make improvements both on the way they ride and the pleasure they get from their riding.

But the event is not just about the police - there will be the latest models from a host of local dealers and manufacturerers on display, as well as live music, top stunt rider Mattie Griffin, refreshments, face painting and a fun fair.

Neil College, BikeSafe and Scooter Safe co-ordinator for Warwickshire Police said: “Final preparation for the event is in full swing ahead of the weekend.

“There really is a little bit of something for everyone on the day from the latest demo models to live entertainment and a fun fair not to mention tips and advice from trained police riders which could help you get more from your riding safely.

“I would urge riders of all ages and experience to come and take a look as the advice on offer could ultimately save your life in the future.”
