Be ‘green’ at Christmas

ENVIRONMENTALLY-conscious people can pick up tips on how to enjoy Christmas in an eco-friendly way at a Leamington event tomorrow (Saturday).

The annual Green Christmas Fair, organised by Leamington mother and Greenfinder website founder Kate Haines, will include the town’s first ‘green living grotto’, a variety of stalls run by charities, fairtrade and eco organisations selling sustainable gifts and a bicycle repair workshop run by Action 21.

There will also be a vintage quarter, Christmas crafts for children and tea and cakes. The fair takes place at the Dormer Place Conference Centre from 1.30pm to 5pm. All proceeds from the day will be donated to Zoe’s Place baby hospice.
