Bag packing raises money for charities
Leamington and Warwick Sea Cadets raised more than £560 by packing shoppers’ bags at Sainsbury’s at the Leamington Shopping Park.
As well as for the cadets, the money will also go to support One World Link, the Leamington Children’s Centres and Warwick District Mobility Ltd, all supported this year by the Mayor of Leamington, Cllr John Knight.
He was there to support the cadets, and said: “I am so pleased that through the efforts of the Leamington and Warwick Sea Cadets and their leaders, the generosity of the customers of Sainsbury’s and the store staff, over £560 has been raised to support both my charities and the sea cadets.”
