Back on the road

CHARITIES and groups looking after young people and old in Southam can take to the road in a gleaming set of wheels.

BBC Inside Out West Midlands presenter Mary Rhodes handed over the keys of a brand new 17-seater minibus to Southam community minibus committee on Saturday.

The town has had a bus for 21 years, after Southam Lions identified a need for affordable transport for community groups. The bus is the first new vehicle since 1999.
