Arrest after factory fire near Coventry Airport

A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following the fire which has destroyed a woodwork engineering factory near Baginton.

The fire at Ney Ltd’s premises in Siskin Drive near Coventry Airport on Wednesday evening and firefighters are continuing to dampen down the building as small fires continue to burn under the building’s collapsed roof.

Siskin Drive has now been reopened.

The man has been released on bail and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
