All the fun of the Mop returns to Warwick
Thousands of adults and children are expected at Warwick’s annual Mop Fair which gets underway tonight (Fri) and continues throughout the weekend.
Several streets in the town will be closed to accommodate the fairground attractions which will traditionally all be dismantled on Sunday before returning for the Runaway Mop on October 25 and 26.
Following tonight’s rides - for which a large donation is usually made to local charities by the Showman’s Guild - the town mayor of Warwick, Cllr Bob Dhillon, is due to officially open the fair at noon tomorrow (Sat).
