Air ambulance to host Octobash event

Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance will celebrate its 10th anniversary at an event at Coventry Aeroplane Club in Baginton on Sunday (tomorrow).

The Octobash will feature displays of aircraft by resident flying clubs and unusualk bikes by The Bike Place.

Flight Simulator Midlands will be offering people the chance to fly a professional Boeing 747 simulator and there will be live music from the Severn Trent Choir who starred in the BBC programme The Choir.

For children there will be balloon modelling, face painting, a magician and play activities to keep them entertained.

Air Ambulance crew will be recreating rescue missions to show the public how their donations help top save lives.

The charity has teamed up with IT company Get Me Connected so people can share their experiences of the day on social media through free Wi-Fi.
