Care home has new boss

Glynis Sheasby worked as the administrator for Cubbington Mill Care Home in Church Lane for 15 years before she was given the promotion this month.

She can often be found helping out in the kitchen and assisting in the upkeep of the home’s prize-winning gardens.

Ms Sheasby said she is very excited about her new role as manager of the home and along with her team hopes to maintain the high standards of care it offers as well as bringing afresh out look to all concerned.

She said that her door is always open to clients, staff, relatives of residents and any new prospective clients.

Cubbington Mill, formerly Westminster House, is owned by Barchester which is one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK with more the 220 homes.
