One of the world’s leading eye surgeons, Mark, who has carried out more than 20,000 laser eye procedures, will be addressing the Congress of the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa (OSSA), which takes place from Thursday March 13 to Saturday 16.

In recent months Mark has addressed the largest ophthalmic conference in the United States, attended by 7,000 surgeons in New Orleans; Europe’s largest equivalent conference in Amsterdam, attended by 5,000 surgeons; and Asia’s largest conference of 10,000 surgeons in India.

Last year Mark joined Space Healthcare, which had invested more than £1 million in state-of-the-art equipment for its centre in Clarendon Avenue.
