Renewable energy company powers ahead

A renewable energy company has powered its way to a major expansion.

agriKomp sells and installs biogas plants to farmers, allowing them to turn waste into energy which they can use in their business or sell back to the grid. The UK branch of the firm, which is part of a German-owned group, was established in 2010 at Stoneleigh Park and has just moved to a new headquarters on the site. The company’s new base is four times the size of its previous offices, reflecting its aim of capturing 10 per cent of the national market. Steven Cook, commercial director of agriKomp in the UK, said: “We were keen to stay at Stoneleigh Park. It is right in the heart of the UK and is well known in the agricultural industry.” Pictured: Steven Cook (left) and Colin Hooper, estates director.
