Review: Giggles galore at Cubbington village hall
Wholehearted silliness in the Cubbington Players’ production of (deep breath) The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of Macbeth makes for an excellent evening of entertainment for tired souls on a dark Friday.
The actors manage to effortlessly take on the task (a very difficult one) of acting to act badly. This women’s group is full of painfully incompetent, but well-meaning, amateur dramatists. No matter how grumpy you are feeling, the effects are rib-tickling.
