Ginny is back in Leamington with a new show
Edinburgh Fringe sell-out comedian and Wellesbourne resident Ginny Davis is premiering her new play, Fashionably Late, at the Loft Theatre in Leamington tonight (Sunday).
Joined on stage by newcomer James Goldsworthy, founder of Popinjay Productions, Ginny returns to the theatre after last year’s sell-out of her one-woman show Something Fishy.
In this show, the pair share numerous roles in a story that sees Ruth and her family prepare for a joint birthday party for Dad’s 60th and Fred’s 18th - but tragedy strikes, causing many a dilemma.
Ginny said: “My aim was to create comedy from a genuinely sad subject without it being tasteless or dark.”
