The Nutcracker ballet comes to Leamington

A CLASSIC ballet for the whole family will be performed in Leamington this autumn.

Amande Concerts and artists of the State Ballet Academy of Minsk will bring the professional performance of The Nutcracker to the Spa Centre on Sunday October 15, as part of a 35-venue UK tour.

Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet is based on the story ‘The Nutcracker and the King of Mice’ by E. T. A. Hoffman, which follows the adventures of a young girl, Marie, who is given a Nutcracker doll for Christmas.

After this she enters a dreamlike land of magic where she soon discovers her Nutcracker prince and dances with beautiful snowflakes.

The score for this show will include The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and many more.
