See unique jewellery at Art in the Park festival in Leamington
Among the many and varied genres of arts and crafts on display at the Art in the Park two-day festival in Leamington’s Jephson Gardens this weekend (August 2 and 3), will be unique jewellery by Rosie White.
After studying art and jewellery and silversmithing in Birmingham, Rosie was selected for the Design Space business start-up programme in the city’s Jewellery Quarter, while last year, she was chosen to be the artist-in-residence at Birmingham City University.
Having grown up by the seaside in East Yorkshire, Rosie loves to incorporate the natural objects of her childhood memories into her designs. She said: “I am greatly influenced by my early life: walking along the beach, collecting driftwood, shells, seaweed; all the picnics on the moors and in woods, bringing home leaves and bark to make pictures and collages.”
