Raise the roof with Collegium
Choristers are inviting people to help them raise the roof with a ‘come and sing’ evening at St Mary’s church in Warwick on Monday September 9.
Collegium, who regularly rehearse at St Mary’s, have decided to start their singing year with a one-off evening of Mozart’s Requiem and an invitation to join the choir for this event, free of charge, to all interested singers.
Mary Clark, the choir’s chairman, said: “Whether or not you know Mozart’s Requiem, or have any singing experience, do come if you are keen to have a go. We aim to have an enjoyable evening of great choral music together with as many people as possible.”
The rehearsal starts at 7.45pm with copies of the music will be provided.
