One of Germany’s finest choirs in harmony with Warwickshire choristers

AWARD winning boys’ choirs from Warwickshire and Germany will perform together at Leamington town hall on Saturday (October 6).

Warwickshire County Choristers, grand finalists in the BBC’s Choir of the Year competition and National Youth Music finalists for three years running, will be welcoming the Wuppertaler Kurrende, who have twice won the German national choral championships and specialise in Middle European Sacred Music.

Warwickshire County Choristers director Garry Jones, said: “Their singing is of the highest quality. They rival the best of our cathedral choirs and we are absolutely delighted and honoured to welcome them to Leamington.”

Mr Jones added: “It will be a concert of contrasts and there will be something for everyone. We hope Leamington concert goers will turn out in numbers to hear these outstanding young singers.”
