New album in the post for Leamington lads

Leamington lads Post War Years have released their second album off of the back of two critically acclaimed EPs.

Galapagos, described as a vivid, emotive, and audacious record, was released on Monday on Chess Club Records.

The single All Eyes was released on the same day.

The album is partly an autobiographical account of the band’s less than perfect lives when first moving to London , covering their financial struggles and claustrophobic living conditions which fractured their friendships and drove them to seek release through their music.

All of these experiences are reflected lyrically on ‘Galapagos’ through themes of existentialism and personal identity, romantic retrospection, evolution, atheism  and escapism.
