With score and script adapted by co-directors Danielle Sharp and Oscar Street, this operetta asks questions about love, marriage and millions. It stars Natasha Argarwal as Hanna Glawari, a rich widow whose inherited millions soon make her the pawn in a glamorous game between film studios that threatens her undying love for Danilo, played by Fraser Simpson. This game is spun by producer Zeta, played by Robin Kendell, who wishes to keep Hanna’s riches within his film studio, a plan threatened by Danilo and Hanna’s love, and from which intrigue and deception ensues.

This production promises an extravagant sense of humour and beautiful music that is still resonant 110 years on from its original staging in Vienna. Tickets cost £15 of £9.50 for students. Call 024 7652 4524.
