In the wake of Handsworth riots
Award-winning documentary maker John Akomfrah will be giving an illustrated talk at the Mead Gallery at Warwick Arts Centre at 4pm next Friday (Jan 16).
John will talk about his work not only on Handsworth Songs, a documentary produced in the wake of the riots in Birmingham, but also specifically about his new film, The Unfinished Conversation, which has already won acclaim.
