Piercing Brightness is the tale of two extra-terrestrial visitors sent to recover the ‘Glorious 100′’, agents who have been studying earth for thousands of years.

Written and produced by former Trinity School pupil Kirk - who has been releasing books and records for almost 20 years - the screening on January 9 comes ahead of the film’s DVD/Blu-Ray release via Soda Pictures later in 2014.

Also on the night, LUC are screening Kirk’s film In The Field, in which a romantic picnic goes awry when a couple find themselves trapped and unable to leave. Forced to confront the cracks in their relationship they slowly descend into a bitter web of jealousy, petty recriminations and violence.

The screenings take place at the LAMP off Adelaide Road, Leamington, from 7.30pm. This is the first of LUC’s ‘pay what you like’ events, so the ticket price will be up to patrons.

LUC’s next event will be a screening of the documentary, The Act Of Killing, on January 23. To sign up to the group’s mailing list, visit eepurl.com/ItcnL
