Adrenaline-pumping scenes bring out a spirit of adventure

The films about adrenaline-pumping adventure sports will be staged at the Royal Spa 
Centre as part of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour.

Organisers said the collection of climbing, skiing, biking and paddling films are guaranteed to get the heart racing.

The two-and-a-half-hour event is a collection of the best films to come from the annual two-week Banff Mountain Film Festival in the Canadian Rockies.

Nell Teasdale, UK tour director, said: “As well as the stunning adventure and mountain films, there’s something special about the spirit of the Banff collection.

“Banff Mountain Festival stories are about reaching beyond ourselves – about people pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve – and we’re thrilled to be bringing the tour to Leamington for the first time.”

It will be staged on Thursday, February 5, from 7.30pm.

The evening will also include free prize giveaways.
