Staff shortages mean hundreds of homes will not get their usual green bin collection today, Monday, July 17.
Rugby Borough Council has blamed staff shortages for the decision to suspend collections in two different areas of its patch.
In a statement it said: “Due to a shortage of staff, we have suspended green bin collections today in Thurlaston, Frankton, Bourton-on-Dunsmore and Houlton.”
But it added that it will catch up: “Please leave bins out for collection. We intend to collect all bins as soon as possible.”
