Rugby friends brave shave to help people with cancer
She was spontaneously joined on Saturday by Arden’s Angels members Caroline Turner, Pat Reynolds, Nickie Brightwell and Lee Skinner Bosley for the stunt.
Between them, their efforts have raised nearly £3,000 towards their £100,000 target for cancer services both at University Hospital Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby
They have raised well over £50,000 so far.

She said: “I was nervous before having my hair shaved off and it is a bit cold.
“We are now focusing all our raised funds on the new Rugby Cancer Unit at St Cross.
