Seeking major’s descendants
He was a well-known figure in the town for nearly 20 years until his tragic death in Malvern in 1894.
He and his wife Catherine (née Russell) lived at No. 4 Heath Terrace, Milverton, and they are both buried in Milverton cemetery.

Hide AdThey had three children – Catherine, Ambrose (who died in 1938) and Rudolph (who “died of wounds received in action at Huj” in Palestine in 1917).
