Hundreds braved the cold for Kenilworth Duck Race
Only the British can enjoy gathering at the side of a river in the cold, watching plastic ducks float by - but then again, it wouldn’t be Christmas without the annual Kenilworth Lions Charity Duck Race.
Hundreds of onlookers lined the banks on Boxing Day as the ducks were released at the Kenilworth Ford, to see if their duck would be the winner.
Organiser Tim Lee said: “Once again, it was a great success. We sold over 7,000 tickets and we hope to collect £6,000 from the event for local charities.”
