Elderly couple in M40 crash
AN ELDERLY couple had to be cut from their car by firefighters after a crash involving two cars on the M40 on Thursday December 22.
The couple’s car had left the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 11 and 12 and collided with a telegraph pole in a field at 6.15pm.
Firefighters had to use cutting equipment to free the pair, who suffered minor injuries and were treated at Horton Hospital in Banbury.
