But police managed to arrest the driver and passenger soon afterwards

A suspected drink driver tried to run away after crashing into a parked car in a Leamington residential street.

But short after the collision, police arrested the occupants of the car on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink and drugs and failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision.
