The Myton Brooch will be the subject of a lunchtime talk at Leamington Art Gallery and Museum at 1pm on Friday (Jan 9) when Sarah Wear, the curator of human history, will show the item which dates back to the current exhibiton on Dark Age Warwick and The Warrior Queen.

The brooch was discovered near the railway line at Emscote Road, Warwick, in 1852.

Another item selected for discussion will be the Bidford Aestal jewel.
