He’s a man of many faces
Guinness World Record holder Joe Bone achieved the accolade for portraying the most number of characters on stage when he merged Bane with Bane 2 to present 79 characters on stage in London earlier this year, breaking a record that has stood for more than ten years.
The writer and performer now brings the original, which he describes as a “graphic novel brought to life”, back to the art centre’s studio on Thursday.

Hide AdInspired by hard-boiled detective stories and classic film noir, Joe Bone’s play includes a comic antihero and a tale of bloody revenge and a city brought to life.
Using just his body, his voice and live guitar soundtrack from Ben Roe, Bone achieves the near impossible to comic effect.
Since its premiere at Brighton Festival 2009, where it won the Fringe Review Outstanding Theatre Award, Bane followed on with a total sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.
Tickets to the performance, which starts at 7.45pm, cost £10.50 (concessions £8.50). Call 024 7652 4524 or go online.
