Warwick are the only team in the 26-year history of the competition to have twice got both their teams through to the final having also achieved the feat in 2014.

The clash against Ivybridge started at a ferocious intensity with Warwick’s defence struggling to cope with their physical runners.

A fine double tackle from Tom Boorman and Harry Spencer resulted in a brilliant turnover from Boorman and earned Warwick a penalty under the posts which helped kick-start their afternoon.

Warwick then bossed possession for the remainder of the half but only had a Matt Rigby try to show for their efforts, the prop powering over from 15 metres after excellent build-up play from Fin Smith, Jack Forsythe and Harry Spencer.

In the second half, Warwick scored the crucial first try courtesy of a fantastic individual effort from the fly half-Smith.

Ivybridge hit back with a try but Warwick then moved up a gear with a well-worked backs move resulting in Harry Spencer running in under the posts and Forsythe crossing twice to put Warwick out of reach at 33-12.

Ivybridge fought back following some lax defending from Warwick to close the deficit to 11 points but they were well beaten.

The under-15s will travel down with their under-18s to the National final at Twickenham on Wednesaday where they will take on Wellington College.
